We are volunteers who have responsibility for the overall management and decision making at Ageing Well in Lewisham - LCC. We bring our different abilities, knowledge and experience and are united in our aim of helping isolated older people lead a full life, supported by friendship and meaningful activity.
We all help in different ways, whether at a befriending group, helping to fundraise or representing the charity. Being a trustee is rewarding and enjoyable, and an opportunity to make a positive difference and serve our community while learning new skills. It can also be very challenging!
For more information on becoming a trustee please visit the Charity Commission website here.
When we meet
The committee meets every six weeks but we welcome your support and input at other times, especially around preparation for the Annual General Meeting! Committee meetings, which last for an hour and a half, are generally held on Monday afternoons at Goldsmiths Community Centre in Catford but we are flexible about the time and place of the meeting to suit the members.
Can you help us make a difference to isolated older people?
