About Lewisham Churches Care |
|
|
Lewisham Churches Care is a small voluntary organisation, formed in 1999 with an aim of helping people living in south Lewisham improve their quality of life through befriending and helping people access other services within the borough and to respond to the needs of vulnerable, unsupported people in the community, regardless of faith or culture. The Group Befriending Project supports isolated older people. The groups meet regularly at local venues and offer companionship and an opportunity to share an interest. Craft; gentle exercise; hydro and a men’s social are examples of some of our groups. Transport is available to and from the venues. |
